Operation

The

VOLUME

setting does not affect

the recording level.

• To temporarily stop recording, slide

PAUSE

to the left. To resume record-

ing, slide

PAUSE

to the right.

PLAYING A TAPE

1. Load a microcassette tape.

2. Set

SPEED

to the speed used when

the tape was recorded.

3. Press

PLAY

.

Note

: If the recording sounds too fast or

too slow, slide the

SPEED

switch to the

other setting.

4. Adjust

VOLUME

to a comfortable lis-

tening level.

5. To temporarily stop the tape, slide the

PAUSE

switch to the left. To resume

playback, slide

PAUSE

to the right.

6. Press

STOP/EJECT

to stop playback.
