:: Rating Control Setup

Set/Change Rating Level

Press SETUP/ENTER.

Press

to select DVD Setup Menu.

Press

and

to select Rating Control. If the Enter Password screen

appears, then Require Password has already been set to Yes. Skip to step 5.

Press

and

to select and set Require Password as follows:

Indicates that Rating Control is disabled.

YES

Indicates that Rating Control is enabled, and a password is required to

change Rating Control options.

Enter a 4-digit password using the 0-9 keys on the remote control. Be sure to

write down your password and store it in a safe place!

Press

and

to select Change Rating Level.

Press

and

to select the desired Rating Level, and then press SETUP/

ENTER to save and exit.

Change Password

Press SETUP/ENTER.

Press

and

to select DVD Setup Menu.

Press

and

to select Rating Control.

Use the 0-9 keys to enter the current password.

Press

and

to select Change Password.

Use the 0-9 keys to enter the new password.

Use the 0-9 keys to re-enter the same password.

A menu will appear to indicate whether or not the password has been successfully changed. Press SETUP/ENTER to continue.

Press RETURN repeatedly to exit the menu system.

• Not all DVDs are rated. (DVDs that are rated higher than the

level you select will not play without entering the password.
